Well, we did it. The first annual 18 FORE Life Par 3 SKramble is in the books and it was amazing. I feel blessed with all of the support and honored to meet so many great people at the event. Our goal was $5k and we nearly tripled that. We are going to be able to help out even more people that battle that horrible disease called cancer. I am honored to be part of the 18 Fore Life team and am so thankful that they let me bring their dream to my home. I cannot thank them enough.
I love the short game, and Beaver Bend Par 3 is the perfect test for it. It was great to see how much people were enjoying the course and telling me how they wish they had something like it at home. Sure, it looks ‘cute’, but it is NO JOKE. This place is tough. I hope more of you will join us in the years to come.
One of the most amazing things that anyone can experience is meeting someone for the first time and feeling like you have known them all of your life. I experienced that a lot last weekend. There were so many good people with a common love coming together to help people in need. I hope to share that with more of you next year. This event is only going to grow and get better. I can’t wait to do it all again.
This is how we #GrowGolf and do good.
Honored and blessed,
Herb
