Who is this Golf Father Guy?

Who is this Golf Father Guy? Answer: The Golf Father is an ordinary guy, who became addicted to golf about 8 years ago. The Golf Father, was born/created with love from people that I have been blessed to meet on Social Media. One of those people is an amazing guy who is extremely talented. His name is Brother Herb. He was the guy that came out of the blue and created what today is my Golf Father logo. The very logo that now appears on my hats, belts, Head covers etc. I love it.

GolfFatherHeaderGolf has given me so much, that I will never be able to repay it back. In 2013, golf gave me Mizuno Golf’s Play Famously. I was one of 12 chosen from thousands of applicants to represent Team JPX and Play Famous. Oh and Famous I did well! (Oh! Play Famous, I DID!) What an amazing experience. Couldn’t get better, right? Well it did. I had the opportunity to play a round of golf with Graeme McDowell! Can you imagine a full day with Graeme? To cap off the day, we ate at his restaurant Nona Blue. Simply AMAZING !!!

Bill_GreameNow, I saved the best for last. The True reason I love Golf. You ready for it? Charity, yes Charity. Golf mixed with social media has allowed me to reach so many. While there are many great charities out there, I tend to key in on a few very dear to my heart, that use golf to help raise money for their cause. Here are 2 of them:

Folds of Honor –The Folds of Honor Foundation is rallying a nation to ensure no family is left behind in the fight to preserve American freedom. Through scholarships and other assistance, they give back to the spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled in service to our country. They provide healing, hope and an opportunity for dreams to be realized…with the support of people like you. They feel this is their duty as citizens of the greatest country in the world. http://www.foldsofhonor.org/

18FORELife- 18 FORE Life will get as many people together as possible to play golf and celebrate the gift of life by helping others in need, raising as much money as possible. Jake Barge, Kip Musgrave, and brothers Ben & Scott Kruse came up with the name and settled on it immediately. The charity will always be called 18 FORE Life, but will always be much more than a golf tournament. In 2005, the foundation began hosting a weekend of good times and great FUNdraising. The festivities are called The Ben Kruse 18 FORE Life Charity Golf Event. http://www.18forelife.com/about-ben-kruse/
